From then on, gut health became the center of my journey — and I didn’t walk it alone. My wife was my anchor, preparing delicious gluten-free meals, baking chapathis and treats that nourished both body and soul. Her unwavering care and strength gave me the energy to heal and grow.
Together, we started exploring the world of gluten-free living — sampling superfoods, hunting for gut-friendly alternatives, and realizing one thing clearly:

What’s In The Name ?
Naming a business is never easy — unless it comes from a moment that means something real.
During one of our many chats about gut health, I was (unsurprisingly!) raving about kombucha, my favorite fermented drink. My wife, amused by my obsession, laughingly called me Booch. In return, I called her Barbie — not the doll, but a true icon in my life: someone strong, graceful, and full of love.
It was just one exchange — but it captured something special.
It reminded us of balance — between health and heart, science and soul, recovery and resilience. That spark became our name.

Now every time someone asks us, “Why Booch and Barbie?” — we smile. Because it started as a story of healing, and became a story worth sharing.
